Where do I want to go?

hellooooo!

so this past few days I've been thinking about my future, and my mind is all in a jumbly, wibbly, wobbly mess. However I do know some of the places I want to visit in the future. I have had the immense pleasure of visiting all manor of places thanks to my amazing family from Holland to Shetland to Orlando, but there are more or ones I would go back to that I would love to see.

1. Australia- I've never been to Australia but I really hope I will visit some day i think it looks like one of the most beautiful places to visit. Also one of my dear friends moved out there just over a year ago so it'd be so nice to catch up with her. I'd love to try to surf out there (probably going to fail) or go snorkeling, now that can't be hard.

Particular Places?

  • Sydney opera house
  • Bondi beach
  • Great Barrier reef
  • Kangaroo Island
  • Adelaide (where my friend lives)
2. America- Now I had the absolutely mind blowing experience of visiting the USA last year, I visited New York for 1 1/2 days and then Orlando for 10 days. I loved every single second, discounting the 19 hours I spent in Airports (BOOOOOOOO!). I'd love to go back to New York because I just loved it there, I'd also love to go on tour throughout America I think that would be literally living the dream.
Particular Places?
  • Macy's
  • Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Central Park
  • Statue of Liberty
  • Yankee Stadium (to watch a Yankees match woop!)
  • September 11th memorial and museum (world trade centre)
  • Rodeo Drive
  • Venice Beach
  • Disneyland Hollywood
  • Amoeba
  • BALTIMORE!
3. France- Suprisingly enough I've never been to France but I would love to go it looks so beautiful and pretty and has an ever so vintage feel to it.
Particular Places?
  • Eiffel Tower
  • Disneyland Paris
  • Arc de triomphe
  • Lover's Bridge
4. New Zealand- this place I have want to go to since I was little, a few family members of mine live out there and when I see their photos I think; why am I not there with them?! New Zealnd looks absoloutly stunning and it's where the hobbit's filmed how can you not go for a look?!
Particular Places?
  • Hamilton, Hobbiton a.k.a the shire
  • Auckland Harbour Bridge (Hopefully to do a bungee jump)
  • Queenstown
  • Maori area
Well that's where I'd like to visit the most there are other places but if i rambled on any longer you'd probably fall asleep.

lots of love

make-up today!

helloooo!
I've decided I really should post more regularly so here's me trying. I feel absoloutly dreadful today so I decided hey why not write a blog post to take my mind off my throbbing head and throat. This is the make-up I'm wearing today (hence the title)
Foundation- I'm sure you've all heard of this as many other bloggers have raved about this foundation. If you don't know this is the Wake Me Up foundation from Rimmel London. I am in the shade true ivory and I actually really like this. However I did like the match perfection more I think because it was very natural whereas this is very dewy, which I like don't get me wrong but I feel sometimes I need a naturalistic look instead of looking glowy and dewy all the time.
Powder- Now I'd never heard of this company until recently and I actually really like their products. There name is Barefaced make-up. I have the powder in the shade Promise (it's not actually mine it's my mum's but being the same skin tone as her is very handy sometimes). I think it's really nice and natural and most importantly it doesn't make you look orange. Huge benefit!
Blush- again this is another product from Barefaced, this is the blush in Athena. It is a really pretty pink shade with a little bit of shimmer in it I think. The only thing I don't like bout barefaced products is the packaging the product literally goes everywhere when you try to get it open. Apart from that definitely worth a try!
Eyes- Now this mascara appeared in my April Favourites blog and I've still been loving it. This is another from Rimmel, it's the Lash accelerator endless and personally I think it is amazing. It makes my lashes super long and is great to stick on when you're having one of those lazy days.
Lips- Finally lips very simple as you can see just some Vaseline in the flavour cocoa butter. Smells amazing does good, not much else to say really.

So there you go a complete run down of the make-up I'm wearing today.

Lots of love

OOTD- smart casual

Soooooooo as the title may suggest I'll be doing a Outfit Of The Day blog. I did this because I'm going out to watch a friend perform and I thought hey why not share what I'm going to wear.

Skirt- New Look £16.99 (I think) came with a black belt but I thought it wasn't very nice so I replace it with one of my own.

Top- New Look £9.99 (again not sure of the price). Buttons up the back, if you can't see the pattern it's little navy and cream flowers which are really pretty, It is quite sheer so you will have to wear something underneath.

Vans- £35 (approximately I bought them in America for $45) these are my babies I love them so much, they are so comfy and go with a lot.

P.s I apologise for my extremely messy drawers I'm such a messy person and if anyone reading this wants to comment on what kind of thing I should do please do I will acknowledge your comments.

Things I've been loving...

today I found that I have a lot of revision to do (UGH!!!) so to cheer myself up I always like to surround myself with things I love. I decided I'd share what little things (not necessarily beauty or clothes) I love.

Music-
So to start with the piece of music I have Loooovveeedd these past few weeks is by the band Kill it Kid, the song is Run from the album Feet Fall Heavy. This song has featured on an advert done by Samsung, and that is where I found out about this song.

Youtuber:
I get easily distracted by many different youtubers so I'll tell you my two favourites at the moment-

This lovely here is Troye Sivan. He is an Australian Youtubers who does vlogs and covers. I've become obsessed with him over the past few weeks, i think his videos are really cool and he has an AMAZING voice.

The next Youtuber I have loved actually for a while now is Zoella. Now Zoella is a beauty and fashion guru and she is the person that inspired me to actually start my blog, because if you don't know she has a very popular blog that I will link. All in all I think she is a very inspirational, pretty and amazing person.

Hot chocolate:
Now if I had a hot chocolate every time I revised i would probably be about 100 stone. But when I do have one, my lord it's like drinking heaven! I use the Cadbury's highlights in the flavour milk chocolate with only 40 calories per cup (I don't think so but oh well) with mini marshmallows because come on if you don't have marshmallows with hot chocolate it simply is not a proper hot chocolate. Two words.
NOM NOM!!!

baggy t-shirts:
When I'm revising it helps to be completely comfy which is why I wear a LOT of baggy t-shirt while I'm revising. My favourites to wear are probably my dad's old t-shirts that he doesn't wear anymore and my new look one. Because I'm lazy and my dad's got my camera I can't post photos of them. BOOOOOO. Baggy t-shirts I find are a lot comfier to work in and actually keep me warmer and judging by the fact I have the slowest circulation system probably in the world, keeping warm is a key thing to me.

Lots of love

Summer is here!

Welcome to May! So the weather has finally decided to perk up after the months of dreary, pooey weather we finally have some sun! YEY!!!! So the summer months are well on their way and i thought I would share some summer essentials. Let's get started!

Nails

Pastel nails are very in at the moment so these are some of the nicest colours for spring and summer.

Air kissesStarting with Topshop. I'm slightly obsessed with Topshop nail polishes. No idea why. Colour on the left is Air kisses and if you can't see (if you can't I have no idea how your reading this) it is a lovely bright blue colour. Secondly on my right is Venus Flytrap, I'm aware that this may not appeal to some because of the colour but I really like it.

Thirdly this really pretty colour. I think this will so nice for the spring months as it is such a pretty pastel shade. It's name is Flying Saucer (awesome names by the way Topshop). It's a lovely pinky/purpley colour which is going to be SO pretty in the spring.

Last one from Topshop I promise. This lovely number is Carnival. As you can see it's orange. Probably the best summer shade. I mean how can you deny a lovely orange nail?!

Sorry completely forgot to mention the price of them. Whoopseee! They were all £5.00! Bargain!!!

Next are 2 Essie nail polishes:

Under where?- similar to Flying Saucer from Topshop $8.00 (the Essie website is in american dollars Boo!)

Barbados blue- I think this would be really nice for the rainier days but you still want to be summery, which lets face it UK citezens it's not like living in Barbados 24/7 is it?
