School make-up me...

Why hellooooo

so today I thought that I could do a post about what kind of make up I wear to school, since my school is quite strict on make-up we have to limit it so the look can be used as an everyday makeup tutorial as well, whichever you choose. Well we best get going then....

Firstly I apply my Lasting Perfection concealer to under my eyes, any redness on my nose and to any spots I have. In some cases I need a LOT of this. I truly couldn't live without this it is my savior.

I'll wear either of these. If I need only a light coverage, if my redness is ok and I don't have many spots I'll use the dream Fresh BB cream by Maybelline, it's really lovely coverage and look really natural as well. If my skin is quite bad then I'll use the Rimmel match perfection instead. It's obviously higher coverage and gives a really pretty natural glow.

Next I apply a little bit of blush, not so much that i've been punched in the face like some girls I see at school (like that looks natural) but just so much I have a natural flush. I have been loving this blush from the Natural Collection (shade- Pink Cloud)  and the fact it's only £1.99 is INSANE!!!
Next to set my makeup I always apply a powder to help me set my concealer as no one wants to see my dark circles and that one spot the size of another head on my face. This one is just a cheap one from the Natural Collection.

Next is mascara. This is probably the thing I couldn't live without, if mascara didn't exist I'd permanently have little stubby lashes and tiny pin prick eyes. This is my current favourite mascara; Lancome doll eyes oh lawdy it's so good.
Lastly I apply a very sheer coat of Revlon lip butter in the shade Sorbet. I want to make it look like a 'your lips but better' kind of thing so a light covering on this looks really pretty.
Well there you go a run down of what I wear on my face on a regular basis. Hope people reading this enjoyed it and gave you ideas on an everyday make up look for you.

Peace, love and pixie dust

Why I am an awful human...

Helloooo!

So today got me thinking about all of the things I do as a human being (which I am strangely enough) that are weird or in some cases make me a bad person and well... I came up with quite a few. So without dillydallying  I will tell you what makes me a awful human being.

1. Firstly I am seriously messy, no I'm not even joking. I can't keep my room clean for more than about 3 days and I am generally a messy person, this may show creativeness to some but for me it just shows how unorganised and dirty I am. HOWEVER I know where everything is in my room when it messy and to be honest I'm just so lazy I can't be bothered to keep it clean.

2. Talking of laziness meet the laziest girl in history, if there is an easier way of doing things then I will take the easy route and I give up way too easily. I bat things of and think 'I'll do it later' which leads to cramming at the last minute or panicking the day before something is due. Good thinking Jennifer you dumbass.

3. I am probably the most unsympathetic people in the world, if someone gets hurt my first reaction is to laugh. Oh my god I sound like such a horrible person. My brother however is probably the most loveable and sympathetic person I know which is weird considering he is my little brother. I hate it when people get upset cause I cannot comfort them at all, so if you're upset please don't come to me I'm not gonna be able to help you very much. Sorry!!!

4. Lastly I am painfully awkward around many of the male species and to be honest awkward around anyone who is 'popular' I swear I get all jibbery and sweaty (now there's an image for you) the only I can kind of demonstrate my behavior is trough gifs I'm sorry.

So there you go just  few of the reasons why I am an awful human being, it is a miracle I have any friends. Hope somebody reading this can connect with some of the things I've talked about and understands what I'm talking about.

Lots of love

♥ Besties of 2013 part 2 ♥

hellooooo

So as the title insinuates this is the second part to my 2013 favourites, this one will cover non make up favourites. So let's get started because there is a few....

These have to be my two favourite fragrances of 2013. Left- this is the Boots natural collection body mist in wild strawberries, er meh gawd it smells SO good,if you like strawberry or sweet scents then this will be your ideal smell. Right- this one I love also but has a very different smell. The best way I can describe this is a peppery version of CK one (if you know what that smells of) I just love the smell and it stays on for ages.

My favourites YouTubers of this year have to be these guys. First up is Bertie Gilbert or as he's known on YouTube as BertieBertG,I find his videos really cool and quirky. He'sis amazing at making videos and the fact he is only a year older than me amazes me as well. Plus he's so adorable I cant help it. Secondly is Zoe Sugg a.k.a Zoella. Firstly he's so pretty it's unreal and whatever she does she seems to be able to make it look good. Her videos are really well made and she has really good interaction with her subscribers. Lastly but not leastly is the lovely Sprinkleofglitter a.k.a Louise. She is a lovely mummy to one of the cutest toddlers EVAR, she also makes such lovely videos that make me smile every time.

Probably my favourite TV series this year has been Supernatural. Just for those that don't know Supernatural is about Sam and Dean Winchester (Dean-left and Sam-middle) battle supernatural forces with the help of rogue angel Castiel (right). Me and my friend have been obsessed with this show, it is such a good show with a story line that isn't so ridiculous the characters are really... well, real. I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT SERIES I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!!!!! Sorry little internal outburst there.

The next TV series I've actually really liked is Hollyoaks, obviously there never seems to be a day without drama but they have really lovely characters (looks wise mostly) and they actually tackle difficult subject in a effective way. Plus I've met one of them!!!!

My favourite bands this year were really hard to pick but this is what I narrowed it down to.Firstly is Bastille which is a British band. They became famous in 2013 with one or two of their singles but listening to all of the album I discovered how many singes I really do like, also they seem like such nice down-to-earth guys after I watched them unplugged.

My next favourite band has to be Fall Out Boy. I loved them from day 1 but when they broke up I was heart broken so you can imagine how excited I was when they announced their new album. I love their style and they still are such cool people!!!! The music is SO good sweet Jesus it's like angels playing in my ears.

So there we have it my round up of 2013 in some people and products. Hope whoever reading enjoyed this and HAPPY 2014!!!! Remember....

♥ The Besties of 2013 ♥

Hellooooo!

I do apologise now because I haven't put up  blog post in what seems like a millennium but I've spent the Christmas holidays and new year at my Gran's house which seems to be a wi-fi black hole.

Yeah I know Dean I react the same way when I deprived of wi-fi.

So anyway I thought it's be good to wrap 2013 up into a few different blog posts about my favourites of2013. This includes everything from nails to make up to music. Disclaimer some of the hing featured in the favourites I maybe only just have got for like Christmas but I know these will constant staples throughout the year. So to kick it all off here are beauty/makeup favourites of 2013!

First is my 2 favourite mascaras of 2013. Left- this is my very recent one and is more on the higher end of the make up chain as it is Lancôme. This mascara specifically is the Lancôme hypnose doll eyes and I FREAKIN LOVE IT! It gives really good length but doesn't clump at all! What more could I want!!! Right- this is an old trusty of mine and is the Rimmel  lash accelerator endless mascara. Basically it gives really lovely length AND volume to my lashes and I have repurchased it more than once for those reasons.

This little palette is the MUA undressed eye palette and oh my lawd it's fabulous, the colours are all really wearable and amazingly pigmented and soft. The biggest things that amazes me is that it is only £5. £5!!! Considering MAC eye shadows are about £12 each these are absolutely amazing value for money!

Next up is a blush and the I've fallen in love with is the Natural Collections one is peach Melba. It's a really pretty neutral peachy colour and is perfect if you just want a little flush of colour. Also again these things are insanely cheap for the quality these blushes are £1.99 each. Personally I think it is worth every penny and more.

These will come as no surprise if you other people's blog. These were actually  Christmas present but  I can already tell it's going to be an essential this year. They are all really good at what they do and they are so soft it's literally like rubbing a cloud on your face. This is the real techniques core collection which is made of 4 brushes...
Buffing brush (far right)-
Detailer brush (second from right)-
Pointed foundation brush (second from left) -
Contour brush (far left)-
For concealer this has to be the No1 this year. The Collection one has just been so good at covering spots (which has been essential this year) it goes and blends really nice with my skin. I can't ave enough about how much I love this!

Finally for my lips this has to be the one I have used he most. Although there were a few in contention for the title this one came out top. This is the No7 lip crayon in the colour Statement. It goes on so nicely and stays on for ages. You can build it up to a lovely pinky red or put a light coat on and it still looks so natural but gives a look of your lips but better if you know what I mean.
So there we go my make up favourites of 2013 please feel free to leave a comment. I hope everyone reading this had amazing holidays wherever you were and if you celebrate Christmas you had a lovely Christmas as well.

All the best for 2014
