♥ The Besties of 2013 ♥

Hellooooo!

I do apologise now because I haven't put up  blog post in what seems like a millennium but I've spent the Christmas holidays and new year at my Gran's house which seems to be a wi-fi black hole.

Yeah I know Dean I react the same way when I deprived of wi-fi.

So anyway I thought it's be good to wrap 2013 up into a few different blog posts about my favourites of2013. This includes everything from nails to make up to music. Disclaimer some of the hing featured in the favourites I maybe only just have got for like Christmas but I know these will constant staples throughout the year. So to kick it all off here are beauty/makeup favourites of 2013!

First is my 2 favourite mascaras of 2013. Left- this is my very recent one and is more on the higher end of the make up chain as it is Lancôme. This mascara specifically is the Lancôme hypnose doll eyes and I FREAKIN LOVE IT! It gives really good length but doesn't clump at all! What more could I want!!! Right- this is an old trusty of mine and is the Rimmel  lash accelerator endless mascara. Basically it gives really lovely length AND volume to my lashes and I have repurchased it more than once for those reasons.

This little palette is the MUA undressed eye palette and oh my lawd it's fabulous, the colours are all really wearable and amazingly pigmented and soft. The biggest things that amazes me is that it is only £5. £5!!! Considering MAC eye shadows are about £12 each these are absolutely amazing value for money!

Next up is a blush and the I've fallen in love with is the Natural Collections one is peach Melba. It's a really pretty neutral peachy colour and is perfect if you just want a little flush of colour. Also again these things are insanely cheap for the quality these blushes are £1.99 each. Personally I think it is worth every penny and more.

These will come as no surprise if you other people's blog. These were actually  Christmas present but  I can already tell it's going to be an essential this year. They are all really good at what they do and they are so soft it's literally like rubbing a cloud on your face. This is the real techniques core collection which is made of 4 brushes...
Buffing brush (far right)-
Detailer brush (second from right)-
Pointed foundation brush (second from left) -
Contour brush (far left)-
For concealer this has to be the No1 this year. The Collection one has just been so good at covering spots (which has been essential this year) it goes and blends really nice with my skin. I can't ave enough about how much I love this!

Finally for my lips this has to be the one I have used he most. Although there were a few in contention for the title this one came out top. This is the No7 lip crayon in the colour Statement. It goes on so nicely and stays on for ages. You can build it up to a lovely pinky red or put a light coat on and it still looks so natural but gives a look of your lips but better if you know what I mean.
So there we go my make up favourites of 2013 please feel free to leave a comment. I hope everyone reading this had amazing holidays wherever you were and if you celebrate Christmas you had a lovely Christmas as well.

All the best for 2014
