Staying Positive!

Hellooooo!
Yes I know I only did one yesterday but I feel today I should make one. With more and more teens being diagnosed with depression and anxiety and self harm is becoming an evermore increasing occurrence I am staying positive throughout these dark days of teenage life. In a world in which people are ridiculed everyday for their appearance, personality and tastes in every thing from fashion to music to food, I agree it is hard for some to stay positive.

When I'm down or bombarded with coursework (or sometimes both) I always think somewhere, out there someone is worse off than me. Someone somewhere is having the worst day of their life with no one there to support them and here I am feeling sorry for myself. STOP. Think about it. Think about the people who, at this moment in time, may be having the worst time of their entire life and here you are thinking that you're so useless and pathetic, when in actual fact, you're not.

Also think about it what self harm is going to do. Remind you of what you did to your beautiful body, because you felt you couldn't take it anymore? Show the world that you can't stand it any longer. You are who you are. No one or nothing is going to change you but yourself. These decisions you make will impact on your life and being positive is the only thing you can do. I always like to think that someone out there loves me, cares about me, wouldn't want to see me cry or be upset about something, even if you haven't met them yet or their not technically here now, there's someone who loves and cares about you.

Think that one day you'll be happy, you'll have a perfect life, even if you feel it never will. It will. Maybe it'll not be as you expect now but perfect realities often turn out very different from when you imagine them. There are people who will help you and support you every step of the way.

Byeeeeeeeee!
